10 Jellycats for Mother's Day that are sure to make you the favourite child

Mother’s Day is right around the corner, and what’s a better way to say ‘I love you Mum’ than with a Jellycat? With such a big range, there’s bound to be something for every Mum, but it can be intimidating to know where to start with so much choice. Li’l T’s resident Jellycat obsessive is here to guide you through some of the top choices for Mum this Mother’s Day.

Flowers that will last forever…

Flowers are a classic choice for Mother’s Day, but they do have an expiration date. Jellycat flowers, however? They’re very adorable, a bit ridiculous, and sure to stand the test of time. Present Mum with the Amuseable Bouquet of Flowers to show how much you care, or give her an Amuseable Tulip or Daffodil Pot that can double as home or office décor.

The classic Jellycat bunny…

Jellycat bunnies are a fantastic choice for gifting. The Bashful Bunny with the Daffodil or Love Heart is a cute pick for Mother’s Day, or pick a Bashful Bunny in the Small and Medium sizes as a pair to match you and Mum! For something a little different from the Bashful Bunnies, I think the new Messenger Bunny would be a cute choice – use the paper inside the bunny’s envelope to write a nice (or silly – no judging) message to Mum.

Mums seem to like frogs…

I don’t know why, but it seems to be a trend. My mum likes frogs, my grandmother likes frogs, and I talked to some of the team at Li’l T HQ and confirmed that their mums and / or grandmothers like frogs, so on the list for Mother’s Day it goes! While there are a few different Jellycat frogs to choose from, my pick for this list is Finnegan Frog. He just looks so happy, and for an added bonus, there’s a storybook that can be paired with him.

A beloved pet in Jellycat form…

Does Mum have a favourite pet? Jellycat may just have her covered! We have Jack Russells, black and cream puppies, Golden Retrievers, Sausage Dogs, and so much more! Then, for cat loving Mums, we have black and cream kittens, ginger cats, and Siamese cats… the list goes on! For Mums with a fave animal companion that’s not a cat or dog, there’s also options, such as the utterly adorable Gordy Guinea Pig!

A treat that will stay around longer than chocolate…

I mean, I’d never say no to a box of chocolates (and I’m sure the Mums reading wouldn’t either), but why not pair it with a sweet Jellycat treat too? Favourites include the fun Amuseable Doughnut and the Irresistible Ice Creams. For something a little ‘fancy,’ treat Mum to one (or two) from the Pretty Patisserie range.

Can’t go wrong with a heart…

For a classic ‘I love you,’ say it with the Jellycat Heart, available in little and large in red or pink! For something heart-related that’s that little bit less traditional, bring a smile (and probably also a laugh and an eyeroll) to Mum’s face with Aimee Sheep, or one of my personal favourites, the Love-Me Lobster.

Something for the tea or coffee fanatics…

Does Mum like tea or coffee a little bit *too* much? Acknowledge this devotion with the Amuseable Coffee Cup or the (delightfully ridiculous) Amuseable Teapot! These picks would also pair well with a mug – you know, Mum can never have too many mugs!

An inside joke or something meaningful…

Why not apply a Jellycat to something you share with Mum? The Amuseable Pea In A Pod could be a fun choice for this – it’s sure to bring a smile to her face.

Something a bit cheeky…

Hear me out… what about Grizzo Gremlin? Make Mum laugh with something that can remind her of her favourite child in a… very unique way.

What Mum won’t say ‘aww’ to a bear in pyjamas?

My last – but certainly not least – pick for Jellycats for Mother’s Day is the adorable Bartholomew Bear Bedtime. There’s quite a few versions of Bart, but I feel this one in particular is sure to steal Mum’s heart.

These are just some of the possible choices – with Jellycat, gifting ideas are endless! Now I have to go get something for my mum for Mother’s Day… and maybe another Jellycat or two. For Mum, of course.
