Father Lance Caramel likes to go hiking with his wife, but his real hobby is birdwatching. He gladly lends his beloved binoculars to the children, but is secretly worried they might drop them.

Mother Vivian Caramel loves hiking, and is always planning the next weekend's hiking trip.
